Our Vehicles

For those who don't know, Brett works as a sales consultant for the Chevrolet dealership here in Rexburg. One of the "perks" of working there is that he can buy any vehicle that the dealership owns or will own for pretty cheap. The only catch that there is, is that we have to keep it for six months before we can sell it. So what that means is that I have a different vehicle to drive almost every six months. Now some people think I'm the luckiest girl to be able to have something new (to me) so often. But it easily drives me crazy! I'm the kind of person who likes to get attached, and to lose something I like breaks my heart (how pathetic am I?!).

Well, it is the end of the six months for our extended cab pickup and Brett has already found a buyer. They wanted it Saturday, but Brett asked if we could keep it until we find something else for us to drive. So we are now waiting to see if something in the price range we are hoping for comes in soon. I had originally been telling Brett that we would be fine with an Impala or an Aurora that would fit a car seat and two booster seats comfortably in the back. But then I remembered how much I LOVED having four-wheel drive over the winter! So now I've changed my mind and am hoping for a small SUV that won't be too hard on gas mileage but still has four-wheel drive. We'll see what we can find!

But in the meantime, our search for a new vehicle prompts me to look back on all of the vehicles we have owned in the almost eight years we've been married. Here goes:
